Manufacturers can receive an ACC grant
Manufacturers can receive an ACC grant

Small to medium-sized businesses have told ACC they would benefit from accessing H&S advisory services. They often need extra resources to improve their health and safety systems and/or practices.

ACC will pay 50% of the cost of the advice, up to  $500 for companies 6-50 employees, and $1,300 for companies 51-99 employees.  The aim of the grant is to:

  1.  Raise awareness of health and safety and the need to use appropriately qualified people to provide advice.
  2.  A potential “sales tool’’ for you.  It can be used as a promotion vehicle to targets companies in the manufacturing sector.  And a way of getting their foot in the door that could potentially lead on to more work.
  3.  “Nudge’’ small and medium businesses into developing an H&S action plan and/or undertake actions to address specific issues.
  4.  Promote the use of the HASANZ Register
